Angels Flight – 48 Hours of Theater

With the unfortunate news Company of Angels will leave The Alexandria by the end of the year, CoA decided to hold a weekend of plays written by the Playwrights Group. All short plays are written during the day, rehearsed during the afternoon, and will be performed during the evening.

I’m sad to see CoA leave this space. Though the acoustics suck and you can hear everything in the ballroom downstairs, there’s a charm haunted by numerous suicides that makes me appreciate being alive.

My play goes up Sunday Oct 20th, 7:30pm. I have no idea what I’m going to write, but that’s the point.

Workshop Reading of Hyperbola

Many thanks to Company of Angels for including Hyperbola in the 2013 Playwrights Intensive. Over the weekend, I got to hear plays by Howard Ho, Daniel Munoz, and Tamadhur Al-Aqeel and participate in discussions facilitated by Prince Gomolvilas and Tiffany Ana Lopez.
