LOS ANGELES, CA – On February 8, 2007 (12:00 – 9:00PM), Niche.LA Video Art presents “Pull For Peace” curated by Trish Lamantea, featuring digital artist Craig Ruda and video artist woodywise.

Craig was born and raised on Long Island, New York. After a move to New York, Craig joined the band Gods Child and later Joe 90. Gods Child released two albums “Everybody” and “Aluminum” for Warner Brothers Records. Gods Child’s first single “Everybody’s One” topped both the Billboard “Modern Rock” and “Album Rock” charts simultaneously. Joe 90 based out of Los Angeles released two albums “Dream This” and “A Raccoons Lunch” for Interscope Records.

After obtaining a Graphic Design Degree, Craig traded in instruments and tones for shapes and colors and discovered a whole new world of inspiration. Since 2005, Craig set up Dog Byte Design and with a mix of photography, typography, and illustration, has been designing for the music, film and television industries. Credits include Will & Grace, Entourage, Desperate Housewives, Wild Hogs, Charlotte Martin and Low Stars.

Inspired by the homegrown nature of street art and through stenciling and wheat pasting, “Pull for Peace” is a propaganda campaign that makes the connection between War and Advertising.

Situated in the heart of Gallery Row on the 4th floor of the Spring Arts Tower, Niche.LA Video Art is a dedicated mixed-media & video art gallery. Located at 453 S. Spring St. #441, Los Angeles, CA 90013 (www.niche.la), Niche.LA Video Art is operated by Nic Cha Kim and Woody Wise.
