Since July 2005, Niche.LA Video Art has been a part of the Downtown LA art scene as the only dedicated digital and video art gallery in all of Los Angeles. For our inaugural show curated by cinematographer Laura Merians, we hosted “Cell-Outs & Phonies,” the first cellphone photography and video art show ever produced in LA. Since then, we’ve done our best to showcase the latest digital and video art to the masses.

It’s now 2011 and Niche.LA Video Art is still growing. Though building restrictions now forbid us to curate any more public art shows during the Downtown Art Walk, we continue to promote digital and video art through our Twitter Feed and Facebook Page. More importantly, it allowed us to produce video art of our own.

Starting July 2011 – 6 years after our opening art show – Niche.LA Video Art will relaunch as a video/design production company ready to help you with any project you have in mind. With partners Eric Heights and Ces Hardy, Niche.LA is poised to be a leading taste-maker in LA.
